Have you tried ekphrasis?

Merriam Webster:  EKPHRASIS, a literary description of or commentary on a visual work of art. Thanks to our lovely Write On Door County, our community has regular opportunities to try out ekphrastic writing. Writers are encouraged to sit with a work of art and write.
