Physiological Chemistry I
Fall 2004
Your instructor is Dr. Holly Phaneuf (pronounced “I will be your biggest fan-if you work hard in the course.”) I love both teaching and biochemistry, and feel it is my duty to translate this material for you in a completely clear and, I hope, entertaining way.

Dropping an exam: Please don’t ask to drop an exam, because it would mean that I think that it's OK for you not to know a portion of the course, and I don’t think that is OK.
Make-up exams: If you know you have a serious conflict with an exam time ahead of time, and you can’t fix it, let me know. If you have an emergency which prevents you from taking an exam, call me as soon as possible. I might let you take a different exam later, but it is extra work for me to create an alternate version for each exam, so please be sympathetic to my desire not to do this for situations that are not definite emergencies. You can always take the optional comprehensive final, instead
